Bamboo salt containing bamboo extract derived from Sosetsu bamboo and method for producing the same

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Phyllostachys pubescens salt crystallized on salt as nucleus, while retaining active ingredients contained in a bamboo extract, and to provide a method for producing the same. PSOLUTION: This Phyllostachys pubescens salt is produced by dissolving 20 to 30 wt.% of salt in a bamboo extract extracted from Phyllostachys pubescens, evaporating 70 to 90% of water to concentrate the solution, and then drying the concentrated solution. The method for producing the Phyllostachys pubescens salt comprises immersing crushed or finely split Phyllostachys pubescens in water, heating the water at 95 to 100C, condensing the water for 3 to 5 hrs to obtain a bamboo extract, putting the bamboo extract in the first container, dissolving 20 to 30 wt.% of salt in the extract, stirring and simultaneously heating the solution at 95 to 100C to evaporate 70 to 90%, preferably 75 to 80%, of water, putting the condensed solution in the second container, and stirring the solution for each 15 to 30 min to dry the salt.
