PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing carrier giving an image which ensures little fogging and suppresses void generation phenomenon in a gradation boundary region. PSOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing carrier comprises a ferrite core material and a resin coating layer to coat the core material. The carrier in the form of a magnetic brush has a volume resistivity of 10SP13.7/SP-10SP17/SPΩcm under an electric field of 4,000 V/cm and a volume resistivity of 10SP6/SP-10SP9/SPΩcm under an electric field of 15,000 V/cm.
