PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folded plate-type building material which makes fire resistance and constructibility proper, and which prevents loosening and coming-off by putting a seam joint into a firmly engaged state.;SOLUTION: In this folded plate-type building material, a lower seam portion is formed along one side edge of a corrugated rectangular metal plate having mounting and valley portions alternately formed in the width direction of the plate; an upper seam portion is formed along the other side edge; and metal plates are connected together via the upper and lower seam portions.
