PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-seaming device capable of lock-seaming both side edge parts of a band-like processed material having non-linear side edge part, a method of lock-seaming, and a method of laying lock-seamed band-like material.;SOLUTION: This lock-seaming device comprises right and left roller support stands 45 and 75 having, on the input side, right and left positioning guide parts 56 and 86 for specifying the positions of the right and left side side-edges U1 and U2 of the band-like processed material U, right and left lock-seaming mechanism parts 40 and 70 having a plurality of right and left lock-seaming roller pairs 63 and 93 mounted on the roller support stands in the orderly arranged state from the input side to the output side of the band-like processed material, right and left swing support parts 20 and 30 supporting the lock-seaming mechanism parts 40 and 70 in the state of exerting a swing eccentric force swingably around right and left axes C1 and C2 and so that the lock-seaming roller pairs 63a and 93a on the input side of the processed material are moved closer to each other than the lock-seaming roller pairs 63f and 93f on the output side, and a base part 10 supporting the swing support parts 20 and 30 so that the right and left lock-seaming mechanism parts 40 and 70 can be moved close to and apart from each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
