Production manner of the fluorine apatite, the process which prepares the fluorine apatite

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroapatite production method capable of producing fluoroapatite improved in acid resistance by improving crystallinity, fluoroapatite with high acid resistance, and an adsorption apparatus equipped with such fluoroapatite. PSOLUTION: The production method comprises a step of preparing a slurry containing hydroxyapatite, a step of preparing a hydrogen fluoride-containing liquid containing hydrogen fluoride, and a step of preparing fluoroapatite wherein the pH of the slurry is adjusted to 2.5-5 by mixing the slurry with the hydrogen fluoride-containing liquid and then the hydroxyapatite is reacted with the hydrogen fluoride in the slurry to substitute at least a part of hydroxyl groups of the hydroxyapatite with fluorine atoms, to produce fluoroapatite.
