PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative heating device using a conductive and flexible resistor material made of carbon fiber as a base, wherein the resistor material is disposed for electrical contact between at least two electrodes.;SOLUTION: In the case of this heating device using the conductive and flexible resistor material made of carbon fiber, which is disposed between at least two electrodes for electrical contact, as a base, the carbon fiber is a stretch-broken carbon fiber thread having a titer of 30-800 tex and a specific electric resistance rate of 100-600 Ω/m. The stretch-broken carbon fiber thread shows slight fluctuation of electric resistance, and has high elongation in particular when it is ruptured.
