A dynamic topic analysis system which can estimate and output activation levels of topics in the case that all the periods and text data to be subject to dynamic topic analysis are input without inputting all the periods and text data, a method of dynamic topic analysis, and a medium wherein a dynamic topic analysis program is recorded. The dynamic topic analysis system is equipped with a deficient state inputting means (3) and a time series interpolation and prediction means (107). The deficient state inputting means (3) inputs information relating to data and periods which have not been input from a text data inputting means (2) out of the text data and periods to be subject to dynamic topic analysis to a deficient state storing means (106). The time series interpolation and prediction means (107) reads out time series data of activation levels and a deficient state of data of each topic, and predicts a value of the time series data of activation levels of each topic in the case that there is no deficiency in data by performing interpolation and prediction on the time series data of activation levels of each topic for periods which have deficiency in data and then outputs the estimated value to an interpolation and prediction result storing means (108).
