PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for oxidation progress prevention and storage quality improvement of meat, and a composition for feed addition.SOLUTION: The method for oxidation progress prevention and storage quality improvement of meat includes feeding a feed mixed with a composition for feed addition comprising a feed additive containing zeolite, ferrite and charcoal to livestock and poultry to reduce a lipid peroxide content in meat and processed meat thereof obtained from the livestock and the poultry. The method for oxidation progress prevention and storage quality improvement of meat includes feeding of a feed mixed with a composition for feed addition comprising a feed additive containing zeolite, ferrite and charcoal and a lipoic acid. The composition for feed addition is used for the methods. The feed is blended with the composition. An oxidation reaction occurring in the body of livestock and poultry is suppressed, oxidation progress of meat and processed meat thereof obtained from the livestock and the poultry is suppressed and storage qualities of meat is improved.
