PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a high-quality termite-proof styrenic resin foam mitigating the load on site where a termite-proofing agent classified as a poison or drastic chemical is handled, along with ensuring the dispersed state of such a termite-proofing agent in the foam to be confirmed visually, with the termite-proofing agent dispersed homogeneously therein.;SOLUTION: The termite-proof styrenic resin foam is prepared using a master batch comprising a styrenic resin, a termite-proofing agent and a nonwhite colorant. By adjusting the concentration of the termite-proofing agent in the master batch, even the termite-proofing agent classified as a poison or drastic chemical becomes easy to handle on site, and the dispersed state of the termite-proofing agent in the foam can be judged based on the evenness of its colored condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
