PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a groove upper structure, which allows efficient repairing work by facilitating cutting operation or lid setting operation, a cutting tool used for the method, and a method for setting a new groove after cutting and removing a groove side wall upper portion.;SOLUTION: The method for repairing a groove upper structure includes using a cutting disk having diamond fine powder applied to a side surface of a disk, cutting the inside of both groove side walls respectively in a semicircular sectional shape by pushing down the rotating disk larger in diameter than a groove inside width in a vertical direction while maintaining it horizontally so as to be laid across both the groove side walls, horizontally cutting one groove side wall in the thickness direction to horizontally cut off an upper portion of the one groove side wall at a desired depth position, and then cutting this groove side wall in the extending direction thereof, thereby removably cutting the upper portion of the one groove side wall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
