PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation gap preventing retainer, a foundation gap preventing tool set, a foundation structure of a building, and a construction method of the foundation of the building, capable of easily preventing the intrusion of termites, water contents and moisture from a gap generated at the joint of a mat foundation and a continuous footing over a long period of time.;SOLUTION: The foundation gap preventing retainer is for holding a gap preventing plate material for forming a surface crossing the boundary surface of the mat foundation and the continuous footing at a reinforcing bar arranged at a position traversing the boundary surface, and includes a grip part for gripping the reinforcing bar and a holding part for holding the gap preventing plate material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
