Provided is an inexpensive modular type linear motor armature which is enabled to realize high-thrust specifications in the case of increasing the thrust by connecting many modular armature units in series and in parallel without changing the length specifications of the lead wires of armatures according to customer specifications. Further provided are a modular type linear motor having the armature, and a conveyor apparatus. Each modular armature unit (1) has connectors arranged for connecting the leads of armature windings. The armature unit (1), which is positioned at the foremost portion of the armature group having a plurality of armature units connected in a thrust direction, is equipped with a lead portion connecting unit (2) connecting the terminal outputs of the leads of the armature winding thereby supplying an electric power from an external power source. The armature unit (1), which is positioned at the rearmost portion of the armature group, is equipped with a neutral point unit (3) for performing the connecting treatment of the neutral point of the armature winding. The lead portion connecting unit (2) and the neutral point unit (3) are separated from the modular armature (1).
