PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object measuring system, a moving object measuring apparatus, a moving object measuring method, and a program that measures the length of an moving object such as a vehicle with a simple configuration of facilities. PSOLUTION: The moving object measuring system is equipped with: a reflecting plate 1, installed above a moving path of a moving object 4, for reflecting light from the moving path; an image-taking device 2, installed above the moving path to face the reflecting plate 1, for simultaneously taking an image of the direction of the reflecting plate and an reflected image of the reflecting plate; and a moving object measuring apparatus 3 for measuring the length of the moving object 4 between the reflecting plate 1 and the image-taking device 2 in accordance with the images taken by the image-taking device 2.
