PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood processing device and a wood processing method which adjust the depth of the wood to be immersed into a chemical for wood preservation, efficiently process the wood with the chemical for wood preservation, and further achieve the uniformization of the processing range of the chemical to the wood at a low cost.;SOLUTION: The wood processing device 30 includes: an immersion tank 1 of storing a chemical subjecting wood to preservation processing; a wood holding vessel 2 of holding the wood horizontally provided on the immersion tank 1; a rotating apparatus 3 of rotating the wood holding vessel 2 to a vertical direction; and an elevating apparatus 4 of elevating the wood holding vessel 2 together with the rotating apparatus 3, which is provided so as to be erected toward the upper part than the height of the immersion tank 1 from the inside of the immersion tank 1 for partially immersing the chemical into the wood held to the wood holding vessel 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
