PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical model of a twist structure suitable for multiscale simulation. PSOLUTION: A method for preparing a twist structure model includes: preparing a solid model of monofilament wires and a solid model of a matrix composing the twist structure (step S101); next assembling the solid model of the wires in the interior of the solid model of the matrix (step S102); then dividing the surface of the solid model of the wires and the surface of the solid model of the matrix with a plurality of meshes composed of a plurality of nodal points (step S103), wherein the nodal points of the meshes on one surface are superimposed on the nodal points of the meshes on the other surface when the plurality of meshes present on the one surface are projected onto the other surface in the opposite surfaces of the solid model of the matrix; and subsequently dividing the interior of the solid model of the wires and the solid model of the matrix with a plurality of tetrahedral elements using the meshes on the surface of the solid model of the wires and the surface of the solid model of the matrix (step S104).
