PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that improvements of high strength, high reliability of contact, and stress relaxation resistance are required so as to further downsize a connector, although a material having high strength and a moderate conductivity is created as a contact material such as a connector by utilizing the precipitation hardening mechanism for a copper alloy.;SOLUTION: The metal-metallic glass composite material uses, as a core material, Zr-based, Ti-based, Cu-based, Ni-based or Fe-based metallic glass. In the metal-metallic glass composite material, at least one covering layer composed of a metal or an alloy is provided on the outside of the core material. The ratio of the cross-sectional area of the covering layer to the cross sectional area of the metal-metallic glass composite material is 20-90%.
