PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper supply device which can reduce the manufacturing cost of the device body and maintain the original appearance of a product, and to provide an image forming apparatus incorporating the paper supply device.;SOLUTION: The paper supply device includes: an accessory paper feed unit (5) configured so as to be separable from an image forming apparatus body (2), and used for delivering stored paper toward the paper feed path of the apparatus body from a paper feed mechanism; an inlet (54) disposed in the accessory paper feed unit and to be connected to a commercial power source directly; and a relay cord (56) disposed in the accessory paper feed unit in an area outside an exterior door (52) covering the paper feed mechanism and paper feed path as viewed from the width direction of paper, and within the installation occupying area of the apparatus body, and used to output power from the inlet toward the apparatus body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
