Method for determination of the ability of umectau00c7u00c3o porous materials. Method for determining the capacity of wettability of porous materials comprises placing a sample of a porous material in a cell of a caloru00edmetro and contact of the sample with a wetting fluid.A heat flux to the cell is continuously measured, and based on the results of measurement, and taking into account a thermal effect of the compression of fluid, a first wetting angle of contact of pores filled with fluid is calculated.Then, a pressure in the cell with the sample is increased from an initial value until the pores are completely filled with the fluid sample, and then the pressure is reduced to the initial value with continuous measurement of a flow of heat into the cell.This allows the calculation of a second wetting angle of contact to the pores completely filled with fluid and a third contact wetting angle for pores free of fluid.
