Process for the preparation of polyurethanes by reacting a polyol with an isocyanate, with the addition of lignin in at least one reactant, in the solution lies in that the particles of powdered lignin in a dispersing device reduce the size of the dimensions of the order of nanometers to micrometers, while dispersed without the use of solvents in at least one component for the preparation of single-component or two-component polyurethane material. Process for the preparation according to the solution does not pollute the environment, and allows the production without the use of organic solvents. Polyurethane material with a lignin content prepared according to the solution, have a homogeneous structure and modified properties. Polyurethane casting resin of the solution has significantly increased electrical resistance and improved thermo-mechanical properties for use in the electrical industry.
