The invention consists of DC Batteryfl], DC Motor[2], Cutter[3],WheeIs[4], Sugarcane Holder[5], Handle[6], Control Knob[7] ,Chassis[8] & Protection Cover[9].These parts are formed separately or purchased from market among its' available range so as to suit application; these products/ parts are mounted on the Chassis[8] as shown in Fig.[l]; During usage; The Machine is taken to the sugarcane farm with the help of Handle[6] by the operator. The sugarcane to be cut, is located in the sugarcane holder[5] & held in that position by one hand of the operator ,with other hand; the control knob[7] is operated so as to start cutting operation. The Machine is located in such a way so as to cut the sugarcane in a convenient way & after cutting, the sugarcane is kept away. Once cutting operation is completed, the control knob[7] is switched off to save battery life. In this way, cutting of sugarcane is continued through out the day or till batteryf 1 ] gets discharged. After discharging, the battery is charged by AC supply, preferably at night & the cutting operation is continued throughout the season.
