The present invention provides an apparatus for obtaining uniform ripening of bananas and similar fruits. The present invention particularly is a device which helps in advancing the ripening process by using eugenol in the air, surrounding the hand of bananas, coupled with air circulation fan assembly incorporated to maintain uniform temperature inside the working chamber and to direct air flow, thereby increasing the eugenol concentration in the adjacent air and increasing the ripening rate. The benefit of this device is that it is inexpensive, easy to implement by the consumers, obtaining uniform ripening of bananas with a reduced fruit bruising and improved fruit flavor, colors and sweetness.
