AUTOMATED LANGUAGE TRANSLATION FROM TEXT WITH USER-SELECTED PARAMETERS AND REVERSE-TRANSLATION FEEDBACK

A system, method, apparatus, software and graphical user interface are disclosed for automated translation of source language text voice to a target language. In 5 various embodiments, various user-selectable translation parameters are provided, including context, idiom, tone, emotion, and an emoticon. Using the translation parameters, the source language text is translated to provide a first target language translation, which is reverse-translated to generate a reverse translation in the source language having translation alternatives and possibly source language modifications. In 10 response to a selection of translation alternatives in the source language (and modifications), the source language text, with the one or more selected translation alternatives and modifications, is translated to the target language to create a second target language translation, which may be text or voice (audio).
