The invention relates to a bellows for a communication passage between two vehicles connected to each other in an articulated manner or a bellows for air passenger boarding steps or an air passenger boarding bridge wherein the bellows comprises in the longitudinal direction thereof a plurality of bellows frames wherein the bellows comprises an at least single layer reinforcement that is coated on at least one side with an adhesive wherein the reinforcement has guides for the bellows frames wherein the coated reinforcement is under tensile stress at least between two bellows frames in the circumferential direction of the bellows.
