In one of the aspect of the invention it is provided that the method for isolation of bioactive components for the reduction of metals is provided, the bioactive compounds isolated from the bio-reduction agent derived from plant parts of Ceriops tagal for a green synthesis of Aluminium and Barium nanoparticles from packaging waste material such as wrappers of food material. In an important aspect of the invention aqueous extract obtained from the stem of the Ceriops tagal is reacted with the shredded packaging material which have aluminium as laminated or film of aluminum, the reaction between the aluminium and the bioactive compounds takes place at the neutral pH and at an elevated temperature resulting in the formation of metal nanoparticles of the metals which are part of the packaging material, the formation of nanoparticles is determined by the analytical techniques
