摘要
The invention relates to an apparatus for demonstrating the Earth's and Moon's motion around the Sun, which is intended to be used as a teaching material in kindergartens, schools and other education institutions, as an ornament, as a lighting source or for advertizing purposes. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a geographical globe () which has mounted at its South pole a cylinder-shaped permanent magnet () in which a cylindrical axle () is fixed, while at its North pole it has a parallelepipedal permanent magnet (), the said globe () being positioned on an orbit (); between the permanent magnets (), on a mobile frame (), a motor () is mounted to put into direct rotation motion a lamp shade () representing the Sun, and the mobile frame (), at constant speed, inside some recesses (), around the central axis (), a spherical joint () within the first recess () inclining the rotation axis of the globe () at an angle of 23° 4' , where the globe () representing the Earth describes a revolving motion around the lamp shade () and 365.6 direct rotations - i.e.days - about its own axis, by rolling the cylindrical axle () along the said orbit (), a sphere () representing the Moon describes, together with the geographical globe () the revolving motion around the lamp shade () and 365.6 direct rotations about a rod (), the spherical joint () within the second recess () positioning the rotation axis of the globe () at 0° 0', in this case the globe () representing the planet Mercury and describing the revolving motion around the lamp shade () and an oscillation motion about its own axis, while the spherical joint () positioned within the third recess () inclines the rotation axis of the globe () under an angle of 12° 12', in this point the globe () representing the planet Venus and describing the revolving motion around the lamp shade () and retrograde rotation motions about its own axis, by rolling the cylindrical axle () along the orbit (), the motion ending upon switching the motor () off, from a switch ().
