The invention relates to an extra flat economical lighting unit with magnetic attachment system. According to the invention, the lighting unit consists of a face (1) of the device, made of stainless steel, which is attached on a plastic frame (2) which represents the middle of the device, having a luminous system (3) embedded therein, said system being attached in its turn to a piece (4) of ferrite stainless steel, divided into two galvanically isolated parts, the whole system being coupled to a box by means of a circular magnetic attachment with attaching eyelets, the attachment having a circular central cut-out and four circular cut-outs equidistantly aligned around the central cut-out, said cut-outs having inserted therein four circular permanent magnets, galvanically isolated from the attachment system.
