The profile (1) has a sealing side piece (2), which comprises a sealing band (3) at a side of a constructional part (20). The sealing band is provided with adhesive units (4, 5) i.e. dual adhesive bands, for fixing at the constructional part. The sealing side piece and the sealing band form a receiving space (12), in which an expanded, elastic foamed material element (13) is arranged. An elastic sealing lip lying against the constructional part is arranged upstream to a sealing rod (6), where the sealing lip is made of hard and soft plastic.
