Window unit, consisting of a frame (1) and a glazing unit (2) with a spacing frame (4) between adjacent glass sheets which is made from a profile with a slot (7) for fittings needed to secure the glazing unit (2) in the frame (1), additionally comprises a trim (5), secured around the perimeter of the glass and covering the inner ledge. The trim (5) have a seal (6) mounted in a slot therein, while glass sheets of identical size are used in the glazing unit (2).
