METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING IMPAIRED FORMATION OF HIP JOINTS IN INFANTS

The method for diagnosing the impaired formation of the hip joints in the infants comprises the sonography of the hip joints with the linear probe at 7.5 MHz in the lateral projection with the verification of the major anatomical structures. The linear probe is positioned on the lateral surface of femur in frontal plane from the greater trochanter and above. The ratio between anterior and posterior parts of the head of femur is measured. The shape and the outline of the head of femur is recorded. The alterations revealed suggest the impaired formation of the hip joints in the infants.
