METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF DEVELOPMENT OF VISCERAL AND PARIETAL ADHESIONS AT ACUTE PURULENT-DESTRUCTIVE LUNG DISEASES IN CHILDREN

A method for prevention of development of visceral and parietal adhesions in children with acute purulent-destructive lung diseases consists in intra-pleural introduction of ribonuclease solution by drainage in second phase of inflammatory process (after termination of discharge of purulent secretion) in combination with stimulation with ultrasound. Once every day (during 6 days) 25 mg of ribonuclease +15 ml of 0.9 % NaCl solution were administered to children at age up to 3 years and 35 mg of ribonuclease +20 ml of 0.9 % NaCl solution to children above 3 years. After that sounding of paravertebral zones at the level of medial and lower thoracic vertebra (T-T) was carried out, after that of the back-side surface of the chest in direction of (T-T) intercostals (from paravertebral to the medial armpit line). Time of effect for each field in children up to 6-8 years is 1 minute in pulse mode (duration of pulses 10 ms), for elder children 2 minutes (in continuous mode). Treatment is carried out by means of ultrasonic apparatus UZT-1,01F (, "EMA"), this generates ultrasound at frequency 880 kHz. The patient is in sitting, or prone position. Area of emitter is 1 cmor 4 cmdepending on the age of the child, intensity 0.4-0.8 W/cm(depending on age as well).
