SEISMO-PROTECTION DEVICE WITH DEFORMABLE LINKS

A device for seismo-protection of constructions with deformable links includes seismo-insulation bearings – seismic dampers, each of which is placed in horizontal plane between the upper structure of the construction and its foundation slab, symmetrically with respect to geometric center of the foundation slab. It includes the upper and the lower bearing plates with concave working depressions, ball solids of revolution. The plates of the seismic dampers are additionally connected to each other with deformable links and controlled damping elements, at that the deformable links are arranged in such way that at given level of seismo-excitation those are destroyed and do not connect any more rigidly the upper and the lower plates.
