A method for the endovasal laser coagulation provides for the insertion of the light-guide into the vein with the aid of the angiographic catheter in antegrade or retrograde mode followed the removal of the catheter and the coagulation. The laser coagulator Lika-khirurg-M is used at the wavelength of 445 nm corresponding to the maximal peak of light absorption by hemoglobin. The output of laser radiation depends on the diameter of vein being within the range of 3-7 W.
