摘要

A method for prediction of arising of new epidemic strains of influenza viruses circulating in region, comprises weekly sampling of nasopharyngeal swabs (biological samples) in the region, isolation and accumulation of influenza virus strains, sequencing, investigation of theirs genetic diversity, and evaluation of investigation results. Phylogenetic examining of influenza viruses is carried out according to genes of surface antigens – hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) of each of subtypes of influenza virus A and both genetic branches of influenza viruses B within epidemic season. Phylogenetic trees are built and location of influenza viruses circulating in the region is determined in separate genetic groups on phylogenetic tree in comparison with vaccine strain, reference-strain, and viruses isolated in the world. Conclusion about possibility of arising of new epidemic strains of influenza viruses is made in a case of detection of new genetic groups within epidemic season.
