METHOD FOR MEASURING RELATIVE DENSITY OF BIOLOGICAL TISSUES BY ECHOGRAPHY IN B MODE

摘要

A method for measuring the relative density of the biological tissues comprises the assessment of the echodensity with the aid of sonography. The output of the echo signal reflected from the organ studied is compared with that reflected from the reference tissue, namely renal parenchyma. The difference of these two values is indicative of the echodensity in the conventional units.
