METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF DYSLIPIDEMIA IN CHILDREN WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME

A method for diagnostics of dyslipidemia in children with metabolic syndrome includes the determination of the content of total cholesterol, cholesterol of low-density lipoproteins and triglycerides. Additionally the content of cholesterol of high and very low density lipoproteins and cholesterol-not-lipoproteins of high density is investigated. Determined are ratios of total cholesterol/cholesterol of high-density lipoproteins, triglicerides/cholesterol of high-density lipoproteins, index of atherogeneity.
