METHOD OF TREATMENT OF ASIDEROTIC ANEMIA OF YOUNG PIGS

Method of treatment for asiderotic anemia of young pigs includes intramuscular introduction of ferrum dextran preparation containing 75 mg of ferric iron in 1 ml of the preparation. As the preparation it is used “Ferosel T” enriched by selenium in the amount of 0.3 mg per 1 ml of the preparation in the form of sodium selenit. To treat the asiderotic anemia “Ferosel T” is intramuscularly introduced to young pigs at the 3-5 day after birth in the dosage of 2ml/kg of the weight of the body; second injection is introduced after 7 days.
