A method for diagnosing the risk of development of atherosclerosis in patients with antiphospholipid syndrome involves determination of the levels of cholesterol, low density lipoproteins, high density lipoproteins, homocysteine, C-reactive protein, IL-6, endothelin-1. At homocysteine levels 15 mmol / l, C-reactive protein 5 mg / l, IL-6 9 ng / ml, endothelin-1 10 ng / ml atherosclerosis development is predicted.
