AN ECONOMICAL AND NOVEL SEPARATION OF PROPICONAZOLE ENANTIOMERS USING MICELLAR ELECTROKINETIC CHROMATOGRAPHY WITH 2-HYDROXYPROPYL-ϒ-CYCLODEXTRIN (HP-ϒ-CD) AS CHIRAL SELECTOR IS DESCRIBED AND WHEREIN IN ADDITION, PARAMETERS AFFECTING ENANTIOMERIC SEPARATION OF PROPICONAZOLE INCLUDING PHOSPHATE BUFFER CONCENTRATION, PHOSPHATE BUFFER pH, SURFACTANT (SDS) CONCENTRATION, SEPARATION TEMPERATURE, SEPARATION VOLTAGE, CAPILLARY LENGTH AND PERCENTAGE OF ORGANIC MODIFIERS WERE EXPLORED. THE INVENTION IS DIRECTED TO THE BASELINE SEPARATION OF TWO ENANTIOMERIC PAIRS (FOUR INDIVIDUAL STEREOISOMERS) OF PROPICONAZOLE AND OPTIMUM CONDITIONS ACHIEVED WAS APPLIED TO THE SEPARATION OF THREE OTHER CHIRAL TRIAZOLE FUNGICIDES NAMELY TEBUCONAZOLE, HEXACONAZOLE AND FENBUCONAZOLE USING CYCLODEXTRIN-MICELLAR ELECTROKINETIC CHROMATOGRAPHY (CD-MEKC). THE CURRENT METHOD AFFORDS FAST, HIGH RESOLUTIONS, INEXPENSIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SEPARATIONS. SWEEPING AS AN ONLINE PRECONCENTRATION TECHNIQUE FURTHER LOWERS THE LIMIT OF DETECTION OF THESE TRIAZOLE FUNGICIDES WITH SENSITIVITY ENHANCEMENT FACTOR, SEF OF 30-100-FOLD. FIGURE 18
