A method of preparing an herbal syrup from lagundi (Vitex negundo), leaves, tanglad (Cymbopogon citrates) leaves, and ginger rhizomes comprising the steps of: weighing the main ingredients of lagundi (Vitex Negundo) leaves, tanglad (Cymbopogon Citratus) leaves and bulbs, and ginger rhizomes; placing lagundi leaves in a cooking pot; adding 20,000 ml alkaline water in said cooking pot to form a mixture; adding the tanglad leaves and bulbs, and ginger in the mixture; bringing the mixture to boil in low fire for 30 minutes; removing the lagundi leaves, tanglad leaves and bulbs, and ginger rhizomes from the mixture; adding sodium benzoate, citric acid, guar gum and sugar to form a solution; stirring said solution until dissolved; cooling said solution; adding the menthol crystal; bottling the solution; labeling the bottle; and shrink sealing thereof.
