The figure also shows the generator that supplies a DC voltage to drive the amplifier (3) and the signal generator (4) which amplifies the amplifier and delivered to the load (5). Measurements of the DC component of the temperature at selected points of the integrated circuit, in this case the point (6), allow measuring amplifier efficiency without using measuring equipment analog signals HF.
