An SL-αMSH construct comprising an S surface of a solid support, an L connector and αMSH melanocyte stimulating hormone, in which αMSH is immobilized on the surface S through the L connector and in which the L connector comprises a moiety of poly (alkylene oxide) for use in dialysis treatment, preferably hemodialysis treatment.
