CO2 CAPTURING MATERIAL AND CO2 SEPARATION AND RECOVERY DEVICE

A CO2 separation and recovery device capable ofseparating and recovering CO2 from a CO2-containing gascontaining steam using a porous complex is provided. A CO2separation and recovery method, in which CO2 is separated andrecovered from a CO2-containing gas using a CO2 capturingmaterial is also provided. The CO2 capturing material includesa compound containing an organic molecule. The methodincludes the steps of: capturing CO2 by allowing theCO2-containing gas to flow through a CO2 capturing materialcontainer packed with the CO2 capturing material; heating theCO2 capturing material to desorb and recover CO2; and coolingthe CO2 capturing material. The method further includes,before the step of capturing CO2, the step of decreasing thesteam concentration in the CO2-containing gas, and in the stepof capturing CO2, CO2 is removed by allowing the CO2-containinggas after decreasing the steam concentration to flow throughthe CO2 capturing material container.
