An artificial-insemination device is formed by joining a small straw or tube filled with semen to one end of a pipette, the other end of which is attached to a syringe. An attachable point is connected to the other end of the semen-filled tube. The semen-filled tube is connected by the formation of fitting apertures in the pipette and the attachable point, such that semen-filled tubes of varying diameters may be forced tightly within the fitting apertures. The pipette-tube-point unit is inserted into the vagina of the animal using a speculum until the point with one or more bends, one or more apertures and a spherical seal, enters the cervix, and a seal is formed between the point and the cervix. The syringe, which contains the diluent fluid, is pressed to force the semen and the diluent fluid out through at least one ejection outlet in the point towards the animal’s uterus. Optimum quantities of semen and diluent fluid may be provided for different animals.
