Foamable resol-type phenol resin molding material and phenol resin foam

Provided is a foamable resol-type phenol resin molding material, which in addition to having excellent fire and flame resistance and good long-term stability of thermal insulation performance, displays little dimensional change during molding, has excellent strength, shows improved brittleness, and absorbs less water and has a higher pH than conventional products and therefore displays good performance in terms of preventing corrosion of a contact member. Also provided is a phenol resin foam having the same properties. The foamable resol-type phenol resin molding material comprises at least a liquid resol-type phenol resin, foaming agent, and acid curing agent, further comprises a nitrogen-containing crosslinked cyclic compound and silicone oil as additives, and comprises chloropropane as the foaming agent.
