Provided is a coated film detachment device (41) which detaches, in a band shape along a longitudinal direction, a portion of a coated film (22) from a coated sheet (20) in which the coated film (22) is coated upon a surface of a sheet member (21). The coated film detachment device (41) comprises: sheet conveyance devices (46, 47, 48) which continuously convey the coated sheet (20) in the longitudinal direction; a contact belt (49) which makes contact with a portion of the width of a coated face of the coated sheet (20) which is conveyed by the sheet conveyance devices (46, 47, 48); and a solvent supply device (50) which makes a solvent of the coated film (22) adhere to a surface of the contact belt (49). A contact part (49a) upon the contact belt (49), which makes contact with the coated sheet (20), moves relative to the coated sheet (20) which is conveyed by the sheet conveyance devices (46, 47, 48).
