AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DESKTOP CLOUD SYSTEM BASED ON INTERNET PROTOCOL TELEVISION

Disclosed is an authentication method and system for a desktop cloud system based on Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). The method comprises: saving a user account that needs to use a desktop cloud server in an IPTV server to the desktop cloud server; when a user starts a desktop cloud client, the desktop cloud client sending to the desktop cloud server an automatically generated user authentication request containing the user account and a user token; the desktop cloud server searching for the user account, and when the user account is found, sending the user account and the user token to the IPTV server; and the IPTV server authenticates the user by using the user account and the user token, and sending an authentication result to the desktop cloud server, and the desktop cloud server performing corresponding processing according to the authentication result. By means of the technical solution in the embodiment of the present invention, user experience can be enhanced, the maintenance work can be reduced, and operation and maintenance cost is lowered.
