IP LAYER-BASED NETWORK TOPOLOGY IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND DEVICE

Provided are an IP layer-based network topology identification method and device. The method is applied in a link-type network. The method comprises: a first communication device acquiring an IP address of a second communication device, and establishing an IP address list for each port of the first communication device corresponding to a port from which the IP address comes; acquiring an IP address list for each port of the second communication device; according to the IP address list for each port of the first communication device and the IP address list for each port of the second communication device, establishing the comprehensive information about a link; and according to the comprehensive information about the link, determining a network topology relationship and the locations of the first communication device and the second communication device in a network. The embodiments of the present invention can complete the network topology identification of a distributed monitoring and management system.
