The invention relates to a deep-drilling machine having a workpiece holder (12) for holding a workpiece (14), a drilling tool (16) and a pressurized-fluid supply device (18), wherein the drilling tool (16) comprises a drill rod (20), an adapter (24) and a drill head (26), and wherein the adapter (24) is connected to the drill rod (20) and the drill head (26) so as to rotate therewith, has a drill-rod side facing the drill rod (20) and has a coupling side facing away from the drill rod (20). Provision is made according to the invention for the adapter to have a central pressurized-fluid duct which is connected such that it can be subjected to fluid pressure from the pressurized-fluid supply device (18) on its drill-rod side such that the fluid pressure (p) is transferable from the drill-rod side to the coupling side, and the adapter (24) has, on the coupling side, a dispensing valve which has a dispensing valve body which opens the dispensing valve by moving towards the drill-rod side.
