The objective of the present invention is, in questioning which automatically scores answers in which characters have been input by handwriting using an electronic terminal, to prevent dissatisfaction caused by scoring-time assessments for graphical features of input characters not matching intents of users themselves. In assessments performed at scoring time related to mutual relationships between strokes (intersecting/adjacent/connected/separated), types of brush-ends which are types of shapes of ends of the strokes (stop/flick stroke/pullout stroke), as well as graphical properties of sides in the strokes or among sides in a plurality of the strokes, display of the same is performed explicitly prior to scoring, using marks determined for each of the mutual relationships, the types of the brush-ends, and the graphical properties so that the users can verify that assessments matching the intents of the users themselves are performed. In addition, the invention allows easily modifying the graphical features that are explicitly displayed.
