Provided is an orally administered preparation of candesartan cilexetil in a novel dosage form of unprecedented high dissolution rate of the drug. A capsule-filling composition comprising a solution of an antioxidant and candesartan cilexetil dissolved in a polyethylene glycol that is liquid at normal temperatures.
